Magazine front cover - Learner response

 1) Add your finished magazine cover as a JPEG image.

2) Type up your feedback from your teacher. If you've received this by email, you can copy and paste it across - WWW and EBI. You don't need to include a mark or grade if you don't want to.

EBI: Very unfortunate that you’ve not taken your own image to recreate the magazine front cover. The biggest lesson from this activity is to ensure that you complete the research and planning components of your coursework so that you can create your own original production. You cannot simply take material created by someone else and claim it as your own.

3) Consider your mark against the mark scheme above. What are the strengths of your production based on the the mark scheme? Think about magazine cover conventions and the media language techniques you have used to communicate with your audience (e.g. mise-en-scene, camera shot etc.) Notice the focus on narrative in the mark scheme for Media language.

i need to use my own image as it is against the mark scheme to use an image form online.I have used some relevant coverlines to reinforce the economist magazine and i think that i have included some of the conventiosn like headline and other conventions like cover lines 

4) Look at the mark scheme again. What can you do to move your mark higher and, if required, move up a level?
to move my mark up i need to use my own image so that i dont lose marks for using a different image and therefore using an image that kinks to econmist 
5) What would be one piece of advice you would give a student about to start the same magazine cover project you have just completed? 
One piece of advice is to take time and take an image that reprensents the magazxine idenity and allow yourself to create something with attraction to auidence and think about the font of magazine and other conventions

  Media Magazine issue 52 has two good articles on Ideology.
